In a futuristic medieval world, a knight named Ballister Boldheart is falsely accused of a crime he didn’t do. The only person who can help him prove he’s innocent is Nimona, a mischievous teenager who loves causing chaos. Surprisingly, Nimona is also a shapeshifting creature that Ballister has been trained to defeat. Since the entire kingdom is against him, Nimona becomes the only trustworthy sidekick that Ballister has. As they join forces, the lines between heroes, villains, and monsters become blurred.
